Editorial 2/2018

Dear readers,

we are presenting the second issue of the Journal of Economic Spectrum in the year 2018. Preparing this issue was rather challenging, especially because we want to publish only papers which bring scientific or professional benefit, their quality is comparable with the other peer-reviewed journals and on the other hand we want to publish the papers which will be interesting for the readers.

We hope that we have prepared such an issue. The quality is a key requirement for our journal.

The second issue of the journal in 2018 contains three papers.

The authors Loučanová and Lacková deal with crowdfunding which is a very modern way of financing innovation and these authors demonstrate this topic on the example of the Czech and Slovak Republics.

Author Nosáľová is focused on television advertising in the context of the child population, we can see certainly also a very interesting theme.

Article by authors Grzebyk and Mika entitled “FACTORS DETERMINING MOTIVATION FOR WORK OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT ADMINISTRATION EMPLOYEES. RESULTS OF EMPIRICAL RESEARCH “shows that financial motivation is not the most important motivation factor for employees of public organizations, specifically in selected municipal authorities.

We wish you pleasant reading, beautiful days and we look forward to meeting you at the next issue of the journal.
